The quarterback is the most vital player on the field in NFL football. They need to be able to throw accurately and quickly, while also having a good enough arm strength to make it difficult for defenders to intercept their passes. But they also need to be able to run well enough to avoid getting sacked by an offensive lineman or linebacker. The best QBs in NFL history were capable of doing all these things with relative ease.
