Sports fields deserve outbuildings

Sports and the outdoors

Sports are a big part of America’s Society and everyday life. If you’re not playing in the game, chances are, you are watching the game. Sports are popular worldwide, take a look at the Olympics. Thousands of athletes from all around the world participate in different competitions, with more than 200 Nations participating. It would make sense that eventually things like Sports field buildings would start popping up. On those days where the temperature rises above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the participant’s health starts to come into question.

Participants include players, coaches, announcers, and also audiences. It is especially important in the game of baseball to have an outbuilding, this outbuilding covering the sports field dugout; where baseball players rest when they are not in the game. Having that extra shade help players recuperate after long exposure in the Sun, on top of all the physical movements they are performing. This gives players a time to get their mind right, let their body breathe. Outbuildings include much more than just a sports field dugout shelter.

The first game to ever been played with a ball and a stick known was Polo dating all the way back to 316 AD. It is also known as one of the first team sports. This game was played on horseback. Team sports have come a long way since then and instead of using horses, we use our own speed and agility.

The Many Ways to Enjoy Sports

Out of all the sports played in the world throughout the hands of time, whether its Baseball, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Basketball or even Softball, everyone has a favorite player or team. People admire specific sports teams and team players sometimes by purchasing souvenirs like stuffed animals, hats, shirts, jackets, key rings, and for professional fans, trading pins.

Trading pins go all the way back to the Olympic Games in Athens, Spring of 1896. The athletes were trading cardboard badges, showing respect for the other team and as a memento of their encounter with one another. The pin trading is still alive in sports, but it’s a different playing field. Fans either will do one of the following with trading pins or souvenirs:

  • Keep them and pass them from generation to generation
  • Barter with another sports collector
  • Sell them for profit.

Each team in every sport has its own trading pin. Baseball has baseball trading pins, football teams have football trading pins, basketball teams have basketball trading pins, softball teams have softball trading pins and so on and so on. Some people buy these items as souvenirs to have as mementos of time in sports history. Others buy them as an investment. People buy and sell sports memorabilia all the time. It can be a piece of tissue that a sports figure threw to the ground, it wouldn’t matter. Or, they might buy sports memorabilia and let it …
